1. Excel Data Exchange
Annual remaining-month forecast
Monthly workflow: Set your industry seasonality below, then update customer rows directly in section 5, download/upload the workbook template from section 6, or paste a copied Excel/report table into the Alternative input section. The tool recalculates every month remaining through December after each update.
Supported: .xlsx, CSV and tab-delimited TXT. For an old .xls file, open it in Excel and Save As .xlsx before upload. Forecast output is downloaded from section 3.
Excel input Complete the downloaded template with customer master data and monthly Actual values.
Output Actual YTD + Jul–Dec (or all remaining months) forecast + FY Forecast. Future monthly forecasts are rounded up to the selected unit.
2. Forecast Settings
Recommended model: 3-month weighted history + 35% capped trend + sector monthly seasonality. The model forecasts every remaining month sequentially (for example Jul → Dec), then sums them into the Full-Year Forecast. Blank past months are ignored; entered zero is treated as a real zero.
3. Management Summary — Actual + Remaining Months to December
Forecast cells include the model output and any manual override. Full-year forecast = Actual YTD + forecast for remaining months.
Model Logic
Raw forecast = [Weighted average of last N available months] × [1 + capped trend × trend sensitivity] × [Industry seasonal index] × [Account outlook %] + [Confirmed monthly add-on]
Published forecast = CEILING(raw forecast, rounding unit)
Sales KPI logic: Sales KPI is preset when the Sales PIC name matches the agreed team structure and can be edited directly. Waradith is the Team KPI for Waradith, Tawatchai, Liu Mingjun, Jakkaphong, Chanon, Qiu Ting, Thunyathorn and Udomsak. Jakkaphong also has an individual KPI of THB 15M. A positive Gap to KPI means recovery is required.
Auto calculation: no manual customer target is required. The tool identifies the first month after Actual available through, calculates the Sales PIC’s required close for that month from remaining KPI, then allocates it to each customer according to that customer’s forecast mix for the same month. A positive Gap to Close means additional customer revenue is needed this month.

4. Management Confidence Summary
Forecast quality & risk exposure
Decision view: High confidence includes confirmed, manual, or stable customer forecasts. Medium is model-supported but should be watched. Low confidence represents new, irregular, incomplete-history, or at-risk revenue. Confidence can be overridden per customer with a documented reason.

Forecast Control — Monthly Snapshot, Actual Variance & Forecast Bridge
No saved snapshot selected.
Control logic Save a forecast snapshot before month-end. Once Actual is loaded for the next month, compare Actual against that prior forecast by customer, record the variance reason, and review the FY forecast movement bridge.
Variance = Actual − Snapshot Forecast Accuracy = 1 − |Variance| ÷ |Snapshot Forecast|, capped at 0–100%.
Save a monthly snapshot first. After a later Actual month is loaded, select the snapshot and month to compare Forecast vs Actual.

4. Industry Seasonality — Recommended Default
Pre-loaded baseline: The recommended Thailand logistics seasonality pattern below is now the starting point for every new project, template download, and import without a Seasonality sheet. Map each customer to the appropriate Industry in Customer Forecast Input; General remains the fallback.
How to read it: 100% is a normal month. Every recommended Industry row averages exactly 100% across the year, so the pattern redistributes monthly demand without changing the annual forecast by itself. Use Customer Outlook %, Confirmed Add-on, or Forecast Method for company-specific events; do not use these curves to model promotions.
Seasonality Guide — why these default curves are realistic for Thailand logistics
Use case: this is a recurring calendar-effect baseline for Thailand-linked logistics. It is intentionally conservative and normalized to an annual average of 100%. It is not a customer-specific demand commitment and does not include promotional campaigns.
Jan–Feb: Chinese New Year (CNY)
China-linked supply chains commonly pull shipments forward ahead of factory closures, then face reduced production, labour availability and slower recovery after the holiday. The curve therefore keeps January steady-to-firm and February slightly softer for manufacturing-linked sectors.
Songkran is a national holiday centred on 13–15 April. In practice, industrial operations, trucking availability and customer receiving schedules can be affected for longer because employees extend leave. April is therefore discounted, most sharply for Automotive and Electronics.
Jul–Sep: back-to-school, consumer build and Golden Week pull-forward
Global retail and electronics supply chains typically replenish inventory during the northern-hemisphere summer/back-to-school period. For China-linked flows, cargo often accelerates before Golden Week in early October, lifting August–September in the Electronics and Logistics curves.
China’s National Day holiday can constrain factory output and logistics operations in early October. The baseline therefore does not assume the September pre-holiday volume carries fully into October; Logistics is slightly below normal and customer-specific exceptions should be managed through Outlook %.
Automotive production and supplier logistics are sensitive to planned plant downtime, model changeovers and long holidays. The default gives Automotive its deepest April reduction, then a controlled recovery from June through November. It is a planning baseline, not a substitute for a customer’s confirmed production plan.
Retail and consumer supply chains typically strengthen ahead of year-end holidays. Retail has the strongest Nov–Dec uplift, while General and Logistics receive only a moderate increase to avoid overstating demand for non-consumer accounts.
Deepest April trough; controlled Jun–Nov recovery.
Confirmed OEM shutdown / production plan is available.
Foods
Relatively steady essential flow and harvest/commodity timing
Small movements only; May–Aug slightly firmer.
Commodity, harvest, halal, or temperature-control season applies.
Retail
CNY, stock replenishment and year-end consumer peak
Firm Jan–Feb; gradual lift from Oct; highest December.
A retailer’s assortment or local calendar differs materially.
Logistics
General freight cycle, CNY / Golden Week pull-forward
April and October disruption; stronger Aug–Sep / November.
Revenue is capacity / project / one-off rather than shipment volume-led.
Others
Insufficient recurring pattern
Neutral 100% throughout the year.
Enough customer history exists to classify the account.
Calibration rule: Keep this as the default only until at least 24 months of comparable customer or industry actual data is available. Once a reliable history exists, replace the default with a customer-specific seasonality override. Do not interpret a 105% index as guaranteed growth; it only shifts the monthly allocation around a neutral annual baseline.
Alternative: paste data from Excel / report
Copy the source table from Excel or a report and paste it below. Tab-separated and comma-separated layouts are supported with Customer, Sales PIC, Biz Type, and month columns (Jan–Dec). Headers such as Jan-26 are recognised. Total rows such as External cust are skipped automatically. Optional Industry, Outlook %, Confirmed Add-on, Forecast Method, Confidence Level, Ramp-up %, Business Start Month, and Notes columns are retained when available; missing Industry defaults to General.
Step: Paste the table, then click Apply pasted data → Customer Forecast Input. The imported rows will replace the current customer list, refresh the forecast, and take you to section 5.
6. Customer Forecast Input
Customer-level method control: Enter Actual in the yellow cells up to the selected Actual available through month, then click Generate / Refresh Forecast. The tool immediately calculates every remaining month through December. Green cells are model outputs; purple cells are manual-forecast mode / overrides. Confidence defaults from the method and history, but can be overridden with a documented reason.
Excel update option: Use Download Customer Template to export the current customer list, update values in Excel, then use Upload Customer Template to apply changes back here. The template includes dropdown lists for Sales PIC, Biz Type, Industry, Forecast Method, Confidence Level and Business Start Month. You can still type a new value if it is not listed.
